LANA AND TIMBU is an animated feature that is part of fantasy and adventure genres, featuring elements of drama, action and comedy. The approximate duration of the film is 90 minutes. The film talks about legends, origins and popular imagination, exploring the complexity of action and consequence, in view of the alienation of men in face of their actions. It is an entertainment film that encourages the preservation of the environment, the scientific study and the use of logic and emotion to solve problems, from the simplest to the most difficult. Inspired by great animation films by Hayao Miyazaki and also by contemporary productions, such as “Kubo and the two strings”, the film shows an overcoming journey where a 12-year-old girl learns how to deal with the loss of her mother through the compassion and friendship of a magical being from the woods, and eventually manages to transform the world.
